About Us

Living Acts of Apostles Church of Christ – Mount Olive
Living Acts of Apostles Church of Christ, Mount Olive, is a vibrant, Bible-believing assembly firmly rooted in the Apostolic doctrine as taught by Jesus Christ and practised by the early Church. We uphold the Holy Scriptures as the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God, serving as the foundation and ultimate guide for our faith, doctrine and daily Christian living. We believe in one God, revealed in Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, through whom salvation, redemption and eternal life are received. We uphold repentance, faith in Jesus Christ, water baptism and the empowering work of the Holy Spirit as fundamental to our faith, Christian experience and ministry.

OUR HISTORY AND HERITAGE
Established 46 years ago under the apostolic vision and pioneering leadership of Pastor Muyede Adeniji Ishola, the Mount Olive assembly has grown into a beacon of Christ-centred ministry and spiritual fellowship within its community. It is a branch of Living Acts of Apostles Church of Christ, whose headquarters is situated in Araromi, Ilaje, Ondo State, Nigeria. Pastor Ishola faithfully provided spiritual leadership and pastoral oversight to the Mount Olive assembly until his homegoing on 6 April 2023. Following a season of prayer, reflection and spiritual transition, Pastor Olatunji Omosele was installed as Lead Pastor in April 2024. He assumed the responsibility of providing spiritual leadership and carrying forward the apostolic vision, pastoral mandate and Gospel mission entrusted to the church, while remaining committed to the biblical foundations and spiritual heritage upon which the assembly was established.

OUR VISION AND MISSION
We are committed to building a Christ-centred church family where individuals and families are nurtured in faith, equipped through sound biblical teaching and encouraged to grow in spiritual maturity, godly character and practical Christian living. Our mission is to proclaim and advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ through love, unity, prayer, sound doctrine and the demonstration of the power of the Holy Spirit. We seek to raise faithful disciples of Christ, strengthen the body of believers and positively impact lives and communities, locally and globally, through the transforming message of the Gospel.
Our commitment remains unwavering: to uphold the truth of God's Word, live out the teachings of Jesus Christ and make Him known in every sphere of life.
ONLY JESUS!
